About Us

Suzanne Palmer is a Licensed Professional Counselor as well as a Licensed Addiction Counselor specializing in individual, couples and family therapy, and maintains a private practice in Alexandria, Louisiana.

Suzanne has many years experience working with persons with substance abuse issues as well as mental health disorders. She has experience working with those affected by trauma and individuals with grief issues. 

In addition to being a prominent relationship therapist, Suzanne has presented at National conferences and to general audiences speaking on the topics of spirituality and how individuals utilize this as a coping skill. 

Suzanne is an interactive, solution-focused therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, She works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.

Theresa has over 35 years of experience as an individual and group therapist working with both mental health problems, substance abuse issues, and persons with stressors in their lives.  Theresa graduated from Louisiana State University with both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees.  She is currently serving as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients.
